Luxury Goose Down Duvet - 4.5 Tog

Remarkably lightweight yet also warm, the superb insulation of an Out of Eden Luxury Goose Down Duvet comprises 85% natural European goose down and 15% feather. These duvets offer a comfort and quality that surpasses most other duvets on the market today.

Available as a 4.5 tog, this duvet is ideal for warm summer months when your guests require a lightweight duvet that will keep them cool and comfortable.

The baffle box duvet construction keeps the filling evenly distributed, minimising cold spots and providing an attractive drape.

The outer case is made from hypo-allergenic Nomite certified 233 thread count pure cotton. The fabric is tightly-woven and so acts as a barrier to dust mites. The edges of this superb duvet are finished with sophisticated double stitched piped edging for an enduring appeal.

Made by hand in the UK using only Downafresh certified white European goose down (85%) and white European goose feather (15%) to comply with the highest quality, hygiene and animal welfare standards, each luxurious Goose Down Duvet is supremely soft and wonderfully warm, without heaviness.

Day-to-day use:
Always use a protector to minimise the need for laundering.
Do not use deodorising sprays or any other treatments.
Air regularly to ensure any moisture is released and the fillings can re-loft.
Natural-fill products may have a slight odour when new so air for 48 hours before using.
Washing:
Wash in a machine with at least 50% empty space when loaded dry so the item and its filling can move fully; duvets need to be washed in an industrial-sized machine.
Wash at 40°C or lower a gentle or delicate cycle and avoid rapid or ready-to-wear cycles.
Use only gentle detergents and avoid bleaching agents and fabric conditioners.
Use a high-speed spin cycle to remove as much water as possible after washing.
Take care when removing the item from the machine as it can get caught and tear when wet.
Never leave bedding products wet or damp as the fillings may start to degrade.
Tumble dry at a low temperature on a long cycle, in a machine with at least 60% empty space so the item and its filling can move fully and re-loft; duvets need to be dried in an industrial-sized machine.
Remove from the drier immediately when the cycle finishes and air for 24 hours to ensure that it is fully dry.
Always tumble dry duvets to ensure that the fillings are fully dried and re-lofted; air drying alone is not sufficient.
Dry cleaning:
We advise against dry cleaning all duvets and pillows because the chemicals used in dry cleaning can damage fillings.
Also the drying stage is critical to laundering bedding but is often not carried out properly during the dry-cleaning process.
